  • Call for Pilot Intervention Projects

    Aug 22, 2017

As part of its focus on the Science of Learning, the Jacobs Foundation solicits ideas for pilot intervention research projects aiming at understanding and harnessing individual prerequisites and antecedents of cognitive performance, successful learning processes, and affective wellbeing.

The key question to which we are seeking answers is: Which individual (biological, physiological, socioemotional, cognitive, motivational, self-regulatory, etc.) characteristics of children are relevant for successful learning – and how can the knowledge about these characteristics be used to design better and more efficient teaching methods, learning contexts, technologies, and interventions?

Projects should aim at understanding and harnessing individual prerequisites and antecedents of cognitive performance, successful learning processes, and affective wellbeing and look at both interindividual and at intra-individual differences.

Please find the criteria and guidelines for submission below.
